Dithernoise - Tsunami://m/h ''L'idea per questo lavoro e' quella di una scultura sonora formata da forme astratte e colori sinestetici. La live performance da cui nasce questo lavoro e' stata suonata un'unica volta durante una serata organizzata per la raccolta di fondi a favore delle vittime della catastrofe. Durante la performance ho cercato di simboleggiare l'immensa energia distruttiva e disarmonica dello tsunami, ma allo stesso tempo, anche l'energia positiva per la ricostruzone e speranza il cui seme e' sempre racchiuso in essa. La rielaborazione per l'ascolto su supporto registrato espande il significato del lavoro originale mettendo a confronto il rapporto tra attivita' umana e impatto ambientale, natura ed energia. Lo spunto di questo lavoro mi e' stato dato da ''Marasma'', progetto per batteria, oggetti e gamelan di Davide Tidoni (usato con permesso).'' ''The initial idea for this work has been of a abstract sound sculpture of sinaesthetic colours and forms. This work's unique performance took place only once during a night organised to raise founds pro tsunami victims. My attempt has been to symbolise the immense destructive and disharmonic wave, and at the same time the seed for reconstruction and hope embedded in it. The adaptation of the live performance to the recorded media also expand the meaning of the work to the issue of human activity, environmental impact, nature and its energy. This work was suggested to me by ''Marasma'' work for drum and gamelan by Davide Tidoni (used with permission).'' |
